Get It Together - 2021

 Heeeeeeeyy!!!

I know guys, I know. It's been what, a little over 4 months? But then we agreed on the fact that life happens, right?😂

I'm really excited to see you here. First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Now that that's out of the way, tell me, how are you feeling? What do you think about 2021?

Personally, am hopeful. We just might have a really amazing year.

I was going to come here and tell you a whole bunch of stuff about how you can plan your year, get your goals did and whatnot, but guys, it's 2021. We survived through a really really tough year. 

It's honestly difficult to make any goals for this year. I keep asking myself if it's important or worth it.

But then,

If we don't dream, why should we live? There is beauty in dreaming, it keeps you hoping to achieve and giving you a purpose to live for. I'd like to challenge you to dream big with me. Be a little hopeful that we survived 2020 for a reason and that 2021 is going to be a great year for us. Manifest that which you desire and you never know, you just might see it.

I'm not doing a vision board this year but I'll definitely make a list and make sure I don't abandon it this time. WE'VE GOT THIS! DARE TO DREAM!!!

Meanwhile, we'll take it a step at a time and learn the steps of goal setting one by one. I hope you enjoy this series. See you next week for some styling.

Black Lives Matter, Even at Home

The past few weeks have been heavy for most of us. Yes, there's still a pandemic with us all (well, apart from New Zealand which we now wish we belonged to😂. It's also very beautiful and being led by a female Prime Minister.) But that is not what we are here to talk about.  The issue of police brutality came to light a few days ago following the death of black people from the states leading to lots of protests. Say NO to police brutality. What is police brutality? This is a civil rights violation where officers exercise undue or excessive force against a person. This includes physical or verbal harassment, mental injury, property damage, and death. (Have you encountered police brutality?) Police brutality is a crime. This one affects us in different ways. Hello there! Rest assured I am the most excited to be here. I have been procrastinating this since April 2018 but here I am now refusing to be limited by doubt and hoping I am not too late to join the bandwagon (if there's anything such as being late in the creative space anyways).  I don't know about you, but am here to have a good time, have those candid conversations we are often afraid to talk about and review a few things here and there.
