Tomorrow, Maybe Later.

Hello, always a pleasure seeing you here. In the  previous post  one thing stood out for me, procrastination, most of you mentioned it a lot and I decided to share some of my thoughts because we are all victims. Procrastination is avoiding to do a task that needs to be accomplished. It can either be delayed, postponed or even replaced. Listen, we never say we won't do something, we just say we'll do it tomorrow then we take forever before we do. This is how we end up in panic because the due date is here but the work isn't done. Tomorrow is not promised. Take me for example, in my  first post  I talked about how I planned to start blogging in 2018 but procrastination kicked in. Now let's take you as an example, have you filed your tax returns? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚you're probably waiting for the last day. Well, most of you are. What causes procrastination? What can I do about it? 1.Self Doubt. This one is not common to everyone but most of us are guilty of it. How many things have

Hello there, How are you doing? (comment and tell me how you are really doing and please don't say 'fine' πŸ˜‚ we are all always fine. lol) Last week's post was heavy but very necessary, I hope you took something home. Today let's indulge in a rather self-improving topic. How can you rate your productivity on a scale of 1-10? I don't know what mine isπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ but I can say that am at a good place.  I know you're probably wondering why you need to be productive and there's not much to do especially because of this pandemic.  Well listen, days that I am productive, I tend to be more happy and proud of myself. The vibe is usually just right and I feel more sane. Who wouldn't want that? Things to keep you sane: 1. Make your bed. This one is as simple as that. If you make your bed every morning, you'll have accomplished one task of the day and this encourages you to do another and another.  The little things matter.  2. Having a routine.  Routines are not a

The past few weeks have been heavy for most of us. Yes, there's still a pandemic with us all (well, apart from New Zealand which we now wish we belonged toπŸ˜‚. It's also very beautiful and being led by a female Prime Minister.) But that is not what we are here to talk about.  The issue of police brutality came to light a few days ago following the death of black people from the states leading to lots of protests. Say NO to police brutality. What is police brutality? This is a civil rights violation where officers exercise undue or excessive force against a person. This includes physical or verbal harassment, mental injury, property damage, and death. (Have you encountered police brutality?) Police brutality is a crime. This one affects us in different ways. In America, it is an issue of race but here at home (Kenya) it inclines to tribe, victimization of the poor (no rich person has a story), lack of humanity and most of all, greed for money (equa

Hello there! Rest assured I am the most excited to be here. I have been procrastinating this since April 2018 but here I am now refusing to be limited by doubt and hoping I am not too late to join the bandwagon (if there's anything such as being late in the creative space anyways).  I don't know about you, but am here to have a good time, have those candid conversations we are often afraid to talk about and review a few things here and there. Basically, we are here to experience life together. Home is where the heart is.  I hope this journey is going to be interesting for us all as we discover life together and get to know each other, well, mostly me but you get it. The sun still shines bright, every day. When I hear the word illuminate, I immediately think about light, brightness, sparkles, and sunshine. I hope that this space does exactly that to your life. May your spirits get lifted, your vibes made positive, and your dark thoughts made brighter
