Let Me Explain

Hi,

Let me start by apologizing for raising your hopes and not keeping my word.

I promised to put up part 2 of my last blog post and it's still not up. I'll explain myself but before I do, how have you been? It's been a month and a few weeks and I have really missed this space. I was hoping to be back sooner but things keep getting in the way. Thank you so much for everyone who spared a minute to check up on me.

So basically, life happened. It's as simple as that. I found myself in a compromising situation and I simply didn't find time to sit and write. I was in a new space where I needed settling in and one thing had to suffer, my blog, well...you guys had to suffer.


I am here taking this leap of faith, trusting that things will be a bit different this month. I do not intend to put any pressure on myself but I promise to do my best and give my all.

Whatever it is you may be going through, do not beat yourself up. Especially if there is nothing you can do about it. Take one day at a time. Do what you can and believe in God to do the rest.

I am being intentional in counting my small wins because it makes me happy and privileged to know that God is still working for my good. I also know that small wins will amount to even greater wins. Do you count your small wins? Tell me.

    Missed hearing from you. Congrats and I wish you all the best, God will surely make you win big and bigger. 😁 To answer the question, yes I do count my small wins and then looking back I realize they are big 😁. Eventually all the wins and loses lead to a jackpot😊, haha cheers.

Black Lives Matter, Even at Home

The past few weeks have been heavy for most of us. Yes, there's still a pandemic with us all (well, apart from New Zealand which we now wish we belonged to😂. It's also very beautiful and being led by a female Prime Minister.) But that is not what we are here to talk about.  The issue of police brutality came to light a few days ago following the death of black people from the states leading to lots of protests. Say NO to police brutality. What is police brutality? This is a civil rights violation where officers exercise undue or excessive force against a person. This includes physical or verbal harassment, mental injury, property damage, and death. (Have you encountered police brutality?) Police brutality is a crime. This one affects us in different ways. Yeeeeeiiiii!!!!!! We are a whole month in and four blog posts up. I cannot thank you enough for being part of this journey. Your support is amazing.  Let's keep reminding our friends to read and join this family by subscribing and following. So, July is here with us and this means a start to the next half of the year. How are you feeling about it?
